Welcome to Swindon Skate Social!
Swindon Skate Social is a warm, welcoming community of skaters from across Swindon and the surrounding areas. Whether you roll on quads, inlines, rollerblades, or anything else with wheels, you’ll fit right in. Our group is made up of people who were brought together by one simple thing: a shared love of skating in all its forms. If you’re passionate about movement, music, and meeting new people, you’ll feel right at home with us.
We meet every Monday evening from 7pm to 9pm in the sports hall at St. Joseph’s College, Ocotal Way, Swindon, SN3 3LR. The first half hour, 7pm to 7:30pm, is a completely FREE beginner‑friendly skate session designed especially for those who are new to skating or still building confidence. It’s a relaxed, supportive space where you can take your time, practise the basics, and get comfortable on wheels.
From 7:30pm to 9pm, we shift into our main social skate, open to all abilities for just £5 per person. This is where the fun really kicks in — a lively mix of skating, chatting, laughing, and enjoying a great playlist. It’s a brilliant way to unwind, stay active, and connect with others who share your enthusiasm.
Our sessions are 18+, but beyond that, absolutely everyone is welcome. All you need is a pair of skates and a willingness to join in. Our community includes a wide range of abilities, from complete first‑timers to seasoned skaters who’ve been rolling for years. No matter your level, there’s always someone around who’s happy to offer tips, encouragement, or even teach you a new trick or two.
If you’re looking for a friendly, inclusive space to skate, socialise, and have a great time, Swindon Skate Social is the perfect place to start.
